A digital vault, with a plan

The things your family will need, kept safe until they need them.

Where the will and trust live, the important documents, the bank accounts, a letter for each of your kids. Vaulant keeps them encrypted only for you, and quietly hands them off to the people you choose, only when something happens.

Free for 30 days. No card to start. While you're using it, no one at Vaulant can read what you store.

Only you, while you're here

Everything is encrypted on your device. While you're using your vault, not even the people who built Vaulant can read it, a math guarantee, not a privacy promise. For what you leave behind, you choose who holds the key.

Quietly waiting

We check on you on a schedule that you set. As long as you check in, your vault stays sealed. Nothing happens automatically.

To the right people

You choose who'd inherit what: your spouse, a child, your lawyer. They only receive items if something happens to you, after a long, loud waiting period.

How it works

Three small steps. Then it just sits there for you.

  1. 1

Add what your people would need to find

The will and trust documents, the deeds and policies, bank accounts and MFA codes, the letters you've been meaning to write. Anything you'd want them to have.

  2. 2

    Choose your successors

Spouse, kids, an attorney. Everything goes to them by default; you can set exceptions item by item. They don't see anything until something happens.

  3. 3

    Check in once a month

A short email asks if you're around. One tap and you're done. If you ever stop responding, your successors are quietly notified, but only after we've tried very hard to reach you first.

What we promise

  • While you're using it, we can't read your items. Not "won't": can't.
  • For what you leave behind, you decide whether we hold the key or a custodian you name does.
  • We can't sell your data to brokers: it's encrypted, we never hold the keys. Subscriptions fund the company.

What we built it from

  • Built on the same modern encryption primitives (libsodium) trusted by secure messengers.
  • Hosted on AWS in audited, isolated accounts.
  • Designed for an audit (and we'll publish one once we're at scale).
  • Built deliberately small and quiet.
